Designing a Co-Branded Story to Ignite Executive Conversations

A large-scale consulting company was looking to break into a new target client that has historically been challenging to gain traction in.

The opportunity

There was an opportunity to craft an executive email, presentation, and z-fold that caught the attention of executives in a way that spoke to their challenges, priorities, and brand.

How we helped

In partnership with the executive sales team, we:

  • Researched the target client’s challenges, priorities, and goals through earning’s calls, relationships, and historical knowledge

  • Reviewed existing business development materials, notes, and prior efforts to engage the client

  • Gathered compelling case studies and stories that would resonate with the target client

  • Designed a co-branded presentation and z-fold template that could be used for future business development efforts

  • Crafted a compelling story that spoke to how the consulting company’s services and stories would benefit the client’s challenges and priorities

  • Provided insights into the target client culture and consulting buying behavior as well as industry insights and trends that may assist with business development efforts

  • Shared recommendations for ways to engage the target client executive leadership team for increased traction and success

How we made a statement

When the executive sales team first saw the materials they said, “Wow, this is exactly what I had in mind.” With few edits, the team felt a greater sense of confidence to engage the target client in a refreshed business development campaign that was on brand and priority focused.
