Branding an Internal Tech Initiative for Enterprise Change Adoption

A technology team at a sportswear retailer in Portland, OR aimed to launch a multi-million dollar, multi-year initiative to replace its production support ticket management solution to boost its response time to priority issues.

The opportunity

Executives needed to gain rapid, widespread adoption and engagement of the new tools, processes, and roles required to roll out the new technology.

How we helped

Leveraging the inspiring narrative of sport in a way that aligned with the corporate brand, we:

  • Designed a brand architecture and strategy including positioning, goals, and sport metaphors

  • Developed brand guidelines including a logo, colorways, fonts, iconography, photo visuals, and mood boards

  • Wrote copy for a messaging architecture including an initiative name, taglines, and key messages

  • Designed and filmed video storyboards with branded intros and outros, scripts, and music

  • Developed a website to host program information, materials, events, videos, and updates

  • Created digital and print materials to generate awareness and understanding of the program such as posters, one-pagers, and swag

  • Designed executive presentations to communicate the value of the initiative and generate awareness, understanding, and change adoption

  • Wrote copy for newsletters to communicate program updates

  • Planned and managed corporate event logistics

How we made a statement

The recognizable branding, simple messages, and cohesive storytelling became one of the most well known initiatives at the company, enabling a successful roll out and adoption.
